All praise is for Allah, Lord of the Worlds.

Without a doubt all your success, your knowledge and skills, they must come from somewhere, Allah blessed you with them. So thank Him. Or are you saying you got it on your own, because of your ability? This is clearly arrogance.

I was recently trying to explain a kid that a gift (food item) she got from a friend, that she should also thank Allah for it. She said her friend gave it to her. So I was thinking and realized that we should go to the source. And it is from Allah. The food was prepared with ingredients from trees, do people make trees? No. So thank Allah.

Likewise your abilities come from Allah. So thank Him.

It will make you humble and He will bless you more.
